Sunset Hill LEAP Partner

Altrusa of Lawrence Club is part of an international non-profit organization, making our local communities better through leadership, partnership, and service. The Altrusa of Lawrence Club members give over 500 volunteer hours annually throughout Douglas County.

Some of Altrusa's projects include:

  • Born to Read — A board book to each newborn at LMH
  • Veterans Book Cart — Books and journals at Veteran Clinic
  • Scholarships for USD 497 high school seniors and those in neighboring counties
  • Being Lawrence Education Achievement Partners (LEAP) with Sunset Hill Elementary School. (That's us!)
