Altrusa

Altrusa of Lawrence Club is part of an international non-profit organization, making our local communities better through leadership, partnership, and service. The Altrusa of Lawrence Club members give over 500 volunteer hours annually throughout Douglas County. Some of our projects:

  • Born to Read- a board book to each newborn at LMH
  • Veterans Book Cart- books and journals at Veteran Clinic
  • Lawrence Education Achievement Partners (LEAP) with Sunset Hill Elementary School
  • Scholarships for Lawrence public high school seniors as well as neighboring county high school seniors
